Goodwill Ambassadors/Distinguish guests

Is anyone able to give me any info about being honored as Goodwill Ambassadors/Distinguish guests for return visitors to Aruba. I think you have to have visited for 10 consecutive years to get this

yes distingiushed visitors is for 10 consecutive years.

contact the ATA (jojo on this site by private message) and give the dates and the resort where you will be staying.

your resort conscierge and the ata will make the arrangements and notify you of the time and place where your award will be presented.

Ambassadors = 20 years....

Anyone aware if having the Goodwill Ambassadors/Distinguish guests status does help when applying for residency or citizenship?

does it have to be 10 consecutive years or 10 visits? we've gone 6x in 5 years.

10 consecutive years.

I've gone 20 times in 14 years but I will still need to wait until the year 2016 for the Goodwill Ambassador certificate since it has to be 20 consecutive years.

2016...that sounds horrible. I will be old...er.

that sux.... they should at least give something allow the goodwill/ambassadors to stand on the immigration line reserved for dutch citizens so that they get expedited treatment.

I've been in that line a few times before (they've waved me over) and it doesn't make that much difference when you still have to wait for your luggage with everyone else. Now, if they could just expedite my luggage...
