I checked prices for our trip June 2008 from BDL to AUA about two weeks ago, something like $670.00. Checked it Monday 10/8 $302 before taxes and stuff, right around $400.00 total. Terrific price, that was for Thursday to Tuesday, weekends are higher but still pretty good. We flew out of New York last year and Boston the year before to save considerablly. Really excited about leaving from Hartford. We live literally two minutes from the airport. Just thought I'd pass that on!!!

That is a good price! I hope you are on USAir or Delta and not American! We are about 40 minutes from BDL and booked our February flights at a good air fare on AA out of BDL. AA has since made drastic changes in those flight schedules resulting in ridiculously long layovers in both directions in San Juan. We got AA to switch us to the non-stops out of Boston, but now we have to drive almost 2 hours to get there. We will have to look into USAir or Delta out of BDL for any future trips we take.

OOps!- I forgot to mention that it is via US Airways. You are right though all the talk about American Airlines has scared me enough not to consider them!
