Is he Crazy for doing this?

Ok - my dear husband has done this once before and we had no issues......and he did it without my knowledge, until we got to Aruba.

He checked 2 30 packs as his luggage.

He now wants to do this again - and I am freaking out about it.

Anyone do this recently? Or pack similiar items for your vacation - if so is there a method to getting it down there without issue?

Yes, we can get the beer down there, but in smaller cans/bottles, and it is bottled outside of the Continental US and he says "it does not taste the same" - he is crazy, I know.

bringing beer

Did I read on the older thread that you can bring in beer that you purchased in the US without paying taxes in Aruba. I'm not talking about duty free in the airport? I have always brought in a case or so of beer and maybe a small bottle of vodka.

Send a message via Skype™ to Andrea J.
each person of age, coming into aruba is allowed to bring 3 litres of beer or wine.

(per aruba customs)
so, add up the ounces in all of those cans, convert to litres and plan appropriately.

now, when going thru aruba customs when leaving the airport, the customs agent may just wave you through. if that is the case, smile and say hello.
if they do ask, and you are over the limit, there will be duty owed.

Stick with the Jack! It is probably 10% more on the Island than in the States. Well worth the premium rather than drinking some garbage.

Getting used to some of the best water on earth is tough! Then they convert it into Balashi. Yum.
