Jacki - were you charged for the visit with the doctor? Did they accept credit cards? I've always wondered how it would work if we needed to visit a doctor on the island.

    Thanks!

Ok, I decided to try the urgent care....so glad I did! 45 mins from door to door including a stop at the pharamcy. No wait at UC, they took us right in. Turns out she has a raging ear infection, we got to see it on the computer monitor. Got 2 prescriptions. The staff is so incredibly nice and friendly. I highly recommend it. Total cost $25 facility fee and $75 exam fee. $17.15 for prescriptions. Overall fantastic experience, considering. Again, thank you all for your help!!!!

Yes I was charged for the Dr visit - I *think* it was $50 total - $25 each kid. I remember thinking it was under $100 for the whole gig for both boys with 4 prescriptions! Yes he did accept credit cards.

Thanks, Jacki. Good to know. I wouldn't claim it on insurance to avoid driving up premiums for that price!

I bookmarked the website for future reference, I travel in a group of seven or more, stay multiple weeks and let's face it none of us are getting any younger.

My daughter is still in pain but getting better. Last night was the first night she didn't wake up screaming in pain . Pretty bad infection! We leave to go home on Monday, it has to be better by then.
