Last November while there the pool area was still under construction. Now complete can anybody tell me if they like it. The old area was small, but adequate unless the snorkeling class was going on.
I don't know what the old area looked like, but the new area is nice. It's a big pool area. One side has more of a kiddy pool and then seperated by a bridge is another pool with a waterfall. It can get crowded sometimes if there are a lot of kids around, but it was nice.
THE NEW POOL IS EXCELLENT. ENJOYED IT FOR A WEEK IN JUNE.IT IS WALK IN FROM THE BEACH WITH A FEW FOUNTAINS, A LEDGE FOR A FEW POOL CHAIRS, A WATERFALL AND A LEDGE WITH BACK AND LEG JETS(EXCELLENT AFTER HORSEBACK RIDING)!KIDS SEEMED TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT TIME IN IT EARLY AFTERNOON WHILE THE AREA WAS BUSY. QUIETED DOWN LATER. ALSO TWO !!GIANT!! HOTTUBS FOR AFTER THE SUN WENT DOWN.
Frank,
To date, I haven't heard one single negative review on the renewed HI pool. In fact, I have heard many positive comments. Why don't we see what the rest of the BB has to say?
The new pool area with the twin whirlpools is beautiful. The new pool has a very shallow entrance which allows children to enter with little difficulty. If anything the problem is that the pools are dominated by children. The Holiday Inn has one of the best beaches on the island however
I was there in January and the new pool and 2 jacuzzi/hot tubs are open. The pool is about 2 times as big as it used to be, they just kinda of added on to it. Nothing fancy but still nice.
We were there in April, and the new pool area is really very nice. They've redone the whole area, not just the pool. The size of the pool is increased, but it's still not very big. But with that wonderful beach, who cares about the pool. ENJOY. I'm jealous.
