Very limited here..... in all our trips, just the Independence Day (4th of July) and Rejuvination Day which is our annual first full day in Aruba...!
Many years at Christmas, New Years and Easter. Other holidays: Queens Day, Aruba Labor Day and 4th of July. Next week will be my 1st time for Thanksgiving.
Absolutely Walt! Everyday in Aruba is really a holiday.
My friend was there this past Halloween and sent pictures of bartenders dressed in costumes.
I think after this Easter trip we're planning, I may try for Carnival.
And I forgot about World Cup. We were there this past June and found out how crazy people are for soccer. Not so much for us, but it was fun.
American holidays, we have only been for Veterans Day and my birthday. Veterans Day was never mentioned, not surprisingly. Although not technically a holiday Super Bowl Sunday was fun.
Aruban holidays, we were there for the big Carnival Parade and love that the Monday after is a national day of rest. We were also there for Queens Day when the Queen gave up the throne to her son, which was a fun day filled with energy and orange flags, followed the next day by Aruban labor day.
New Years, Patriots, Easter, Queens, Memorial, Veterans, Thanksgiving and Boxing Days, as well as the Christmas season.
Craziest day we were ever there was back in 2010 -- the day the Dutch won the World Cup semi-final ---- it wasn't a holiday, but no one was working and it was INSANE. Everyone wearing Orange - bars were packed in the morning and the Island was HOPPING!

Aruba New Years 2016-17 12/27/16 - 1/4/17
Many Thanksgivings as that is our lucky arrival day. Divi Divi AI is nice enough to have a full turkey dinner and all the fixings. After waking up before the crack of dawn (if I can sleep at all with the excitement) and flying all day it sure does feel good to have a nice meal waiting for us.
My birthday is Christmas Eve so I was lucky enough to spend Christmas 2010 on Aruba for one of my milestone birthdays!
I remember my first trip to Aruba the last day the girl in the gift shop told me New Years Eve is a huge blast I would love to be in Aruba for New Years it really sounds great.
