    Great story and ending!

When I was in my mid 20s I went to Disney with my 2 brothers. At Universal Studios on the Back To The Future ride the wallet of a man sitting next to my brother slipped out of his pocket on to the chair. He also had $500 in cash which was a lot of money in those days compared to today. He left in a hurray after the ride and my brother spotted the wallet and cash. My younger brother wanted to take the $500 cash and leave the wallet but I said no way. We argued/debated a bit and then I told him that I can't tell him what to do but that it was bad karma if he kept the money. i told him that the man who lost the money might be there with his kids and saved up for the trip. He turned in the wallet with the cash reluctantly and kept giving me a smirk all day. Decades later now he remembers that incident and thanked me for persuading him to do the right thing since over the years he ended up losing his wallet, smart phones which ended up being returned. I said yup good Karma...

Nice story! Enjoyed reading it and shared with my husband as the man is from the town we live in-Mendon. We don't know him but so funny to think someone so close was ARUBA bound. For some reason we feel like it's our secret place-lol.

Yes thank you for posting. It is true there is a lot of honest, trusty worthy and respectful people in this world.
My grandfather used to tell me if you don't have all three of those in a friendship/relationship then you don't have the "true" one.

Smoke do you live close by to the little town of Mendon? We call it Meehanville these days-lol. No longer the little town it was but it kept the little town feel while our kids were growing up which is what we wanted.
