    honeymoon spa treatment

ok, so I never get massages, have never gotten one so I am clueless....
One of my bestfriend's daughter is getting married in October and a few of us thought it would be nice to get the honeymooners a couples massage. I am going down in April so I can pick up a gift certificate so we can give it for the shower....
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I checked Marriott and they want 280 for a 50 minute massage. I don't know anywhere else besides Divi...

    marriott is overpriced IMO

this place gets wonderful reviews and my husband has gone there a couple of times (back issues) and has gotten much relief.

We always get a couples massage at Spa Del Sol at Manchebo- highly recommend!

Check the resort where they'll be staying...... most offer massage. DW loved Manchebo.

Another vote for Spa Del Sol at Manchebo. Private huts right on beach, nice relaxation area and great massages. Hubs and I do it every year and love it. 50 min couples massage is $180.

Renaissance has a spa. I've never used them, but they have packages for couples-they take the couple to their island, but to a secluded outdoor scenic spot for a couples massage of their choice and they can get drinks, food. I think they then will leave them alone for awhile.

    okay...
so, andrea...is there more than one person working at a time there, since we wanted a couples massage ??

I also noted manchebo and that sounds great as well and of course the price is so much better than marriott (andrea hit the nail on the head with overpriced)

Lastly, I guess you don't have to be a guest at the Ren to be taken out to the private island to get a couples massage....that would be nice for the newlyweds...might see a flamingo or 2

Thanks for all the suggestions I will look into them all and decide after !!

I checked out the Ren spa packages but could not find a price...all the other spas give you a price list..think that would be great to go to their private island..will look into it a bit more.
