Cindy - Are you trying to do it from a PC/desktop computer or an iPad/tablet?

This is a two part post...

Doing this on a tablet can be tricky as the pictures seem to sometimes show up in the posted message upside down so, when you can, use a desktop or laptop PC/Mac - it'll save you a lot of headaches.

First, make sure you know where (which folder) your photos are located on your computer.

Then, you need to compose your post/message and place your cursor (the little flashing line that shows you where you're typing in the message) in the spot you want the picture to be displayed in your post...

Once you have the cursor placed where you want to place the picture, click on the the little tree icon/button above the posting:

Clicking that icon/button will bring up the "insert image" dialogue box/window:

First, you want to click on the tab at the top that says "From Computer"; once you've done that, you click on the "Select Files" button at the bottom and navigate to the folder on your computer that holds your photos:

    Continues in post 2....

    ...part 2...

Select the photo from the folder on your PC that you want to upload.

Then click ┘pload File(s) and the transfer of the photo from your PC to your composed message/post will start and the photo will be inserted.

Then just click "Post Quick Reply" like you normally would and the message/post will be displayed in the forum thread.

NOTE: It might take a few minutes to upload your picture depending on how fast your internet connection is.

I post from my IPad and I finally figured out why some of my pictures come in sideways. If I take a picture with my IPhone in the portrait (vertical) position and then try to upload it the photo comes in sideways. It doesn't happen when I use the landscape (horizontal) position.

Andrea, can you make this a sticky to keep towards the top of the category? I am sure it will be used by several forum members.
