    Hi Jacki,

Here is the link to the Aruparking FB where I saw the pic:

    https://www.facebook.com/Aruparking/...type=3&theater

And another version of it (when you click on it, the pic will enlarge to make it easier to read the text):

    https://scontent-dfw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...da&oe=5835CDDD

When I click on it to save the image to my computer, I get the following:

    13510983_296442617361110_2910340623298404676_n.jpg

The last version (jpg) I tried as well to post on the forum using the URL feature but I only got the error message.

Strangely, when unchecking the box " Retrieve remote file and reference locally" it would let me post, however, not as a thumbnail.

    i am using a mac

when i click on that FB link and get the photo, i then right click on the photo and click save to iPhoto.
once it is saved on my iPhoto (in my computer) i then follow posting directions for the thumbnail.

what kind of an operating system are u using?

Thank you for bringing it to the webmaster's attention, Andrea.

In this case, I did not just wanted to post the link as it is on Facebook and not everyone has a FB account. For instance, one of our forum members WaltVB has no FB, and probably other forum members or people reading the forum, don't have one either.

I thought it was some useful and great information where many tourists can benefit from.

Many times, when I post a Google Translation of an Amigoe article and there is an interesting photo at the article, I post the link anyway and point out that there is a photo available at the link. If the URL feature would work, I would attach the photo to the text of the Google Translation and forum members can read and see the photo right away.

I wrotento the webmaster of your concerns .

if indeed a posting large photo happens by members Jacki and I ask the member to thumbnail it and if not, we do it.

I'm using Windows on my laptop.

If the URL feature would work, it would be really fast and easy to post a picture:

Click on the "Insert Image" icon
    Click "From URL"
    Insert link
    Post

That Aruba parking thing on FB is public so all can see regardless of if they are a FB member.

Attach the phot anyway you can but in thumbnail size please. Next to the translated thing or the link.

This is not a URL - I think that may be the issue. the URL would be the http link with .jpg at the end. You should be using the other option as it is now a jpg that you have saved to your computer.

Jacki, I used all three options. None of them worked.

You can't post a pic saved on your HDD as a URL. You have to use the "From Computer" tab and select the file on your HDD. I hope that helps.
