How visible is security in your resort?

    Just wondering ....

How "safe" do you feel your resort is, and by that I mean is do you see security walking the resort?
    Walking, segwaying, standing around?

We stay at Surf Club and Holiday Inn. There is an abundance of visible security at both locations day and night. We like that a lot and feel both resorts are quite safe for the guests.

We have security guards @ Paradise Beach. There is also a security office with tv monitors for the security cameras. The resident guards are supplemented with rent-a-cops. Gates are closed and locked in the evenings to funnel traffic through the lobby.

LaCabana, besides the pool area like Andrea mentioned there are also security posted in the lobby, as well as outside the lobby in the courtyard area and walking around on the beach too.

ETA: I feel very safe at the resort at all times day & night.

At the Divi, security is very visible walking the property during the day. At night when headed back to the room we always see security stationed at various spots along the property. What we haven't seen in recent years is security on atvs patrolling the beach.

Security at the Surf is visible. While I see them stationed all over I don't always feel they're on top of the game around the lazy river.
They do however have a great presence at the entrance to the resort from the beach. I don't see them out on the actual sand though. Just recently an older couple feel asleep at their palapa. Stolen while they slept was their beach bag with $12000 worth of hearing aides.
I'm betting if you asked a guard what color the bracelets were that week they couldn't tell you. My grade is a B- here. I do feel mgmt. is concerned about its security here.

As for the Renaissance, the downtown area has the Segway brigade wheeling around the pathway surrounding the resort. There is usually one or 2 security guards stationed around the lobby and small pool area. My beef is the cruise people depositing themselves at our pool/ lagoon hogging the chairs. Sometimes even locals. When that happens security has to be notified to have them removed. My grade is a B here.

I've had nothing stolen at either resort, or in Aruba for that matter, so I can hardly complain.
I'm merely interested in other places.

when we have stayed at the Ren ocean Suites (either as a rentalor Interval trade)we have always seen the cruise passengers come and take over the good shade locations near the lagoon. however, once they seem to get comfortable, we have seen too that security has moved them OUT!

we are out at night, a lot. we have always seen plenty of security at the places we go to (with casinos).

I agree with Peg, at Divi AI security is visible very early in the mornings, all day and at night. I too feel very safe and would like to add the security personnel are also very friendly and always smile and say hello

Also the lobby area has security near elevators.
