    how young is too young?

our grandson will be 20 mos old in late October and our dear son and wife are thinking of Aruba (we will be there)

now that it is effecting "me" i am having some thoughts of whether this would be awesome or exhausting.

they'd only be there for 7 days.

for those that have traveled with toddler children/grandchildren , comments?

I think it will be a bit of both and since they'll be there just 7 days it should work out. Would they be staying at Banana Apts as well?

How big is the space you'll be in with them? We had a "family" vacation in an RV with my two nephews (who were 4 and 6 at the time) from Toronto to Orlando/Disney once.

    Yes, once.

I still get agitated when I see the southern part of Interstate 75... and that was over 25 years ago!!

Sounds perfect. Just make sure you have an agreement with them on how many nights you'll babysit so they can have date night

I think the stay in Aruba would be wonderful...... but the getting there would be long, long days and toddlers don't generally like to travel all day long....

Our grandson came down with his mom when he was around 18 months. He loved the beach and the pools at the Surf Club. He went everywhere we went and was not much trouble at all. It wasn't exhausting for us, because we weren't responsible for his care except for a couple of nights that his mom and her friend went out.

Are you kidding me, what a fun trip!!!
OMG, you, the baby and water = so much fun
Youll have him swimming before he goes.
i have to admit I'm getting jealous of people with grand babies.
    Gotta finish school here first
