Question Hugging Tree

Someone told us about a sightseeing spot where there is a "Hugging Tree." We had never heard of it, and they were unable to tell us where it is located on the island. Anyone have any idea about this tree and where it is located? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Never heard of it - know there are a few famous trees on the island that are photographed a lot....

Wonder if the 'hugging tree' is like the 'wish rocks' - something that was invented?

Yes, I wondered the same thing. Our friends saw it on a tour they took of the island, so it quite possibly could be a "touristy invention".

I see a lot of hugging at the "Divi" trees in front of the Amsterdam Manor.

Thats funny, I didn't think people actually hugged trees, I thought a "treehugger" was just metaphor or slurr if you will for a hippie. lol
