Humidity

Yes... another stupid question from me : )

Will all of the talk about the weather and the rain next week, I checked the weather site and it talks about being VERY HUMID and hot. I knew it was hot down there, but for some reason I wasn't thinking about the humidity.

Is it really hot and humid like Florida is in August? If so, do the winds help make it bearable?

Thanks!

Re: Humidity

Yes, it's humid, but the winds help make it bearable. You can sit on the beach or by the pool without sweating. Very soothing.

Re: Humidity

It is humid, just like any other island. It's VERY windy and I personally found it annoying by the 3rd or 4th day. Aruba is still a very beautiful place and I hope to return very soon, but make sure you bring something for your hair if it's long!

Re: Humidity

I asked the same question months ago and they did tell me its not bad because of the Trade Winds. Even if it is windy I have very curly hair so I don't have to do much to it. Thank goodness.

Re: Humidity

Wendy,
There is a bit of humidity in Aruba. However with the breeze off the water, you dont even notice it is there.

Enjoy your trip.

Re: Humidity

If Aruba didn't have the Trade Wind, it would be out to stay outside. I was there last August and the winds are wonderful to have.

Re: Humidity

It was hot humid when we went last week-- very bad for the hair do. But the wind is welcome everytime it blows!! It was very windy one day but we were thankful that it was blowing.
