Has anyone been to the Hyatt recently? Have they started their renovations? We are going to be there in October. Can't wait.

I didn't hear about any renovations. What are they planning? We're also scheduled to go this October.

We are going in May. Does anyone know if they have a balacony that you can sit on?? Thanks

room renovations began in November

We were there in December. The renovations are more like a "refresh" in that the rooms and restaurants are getting new furniture, colorschemes and fixtures...they had some samples posted in the lobby when we were there. Lots of earth tones and modern-looking stuff. Really looks like they ordered from the IKEA catalog. As for the balconies...they are a joke. Only enough room to stand on. Unless, of course, you have the suite at the end of the tower that faces the ocean...those are large enough to put a chair on.
