As part of Bluegreen Vacation Club. My Wife and I are staying at La Cabanna(sp?) that week.
From what I can tell we need to rent a car for a week, no problem. And drive around. Are there places we should not go?(poverty, crime) We are 28 and really not up for the bar/casino thing. We like to explore, go off the beaten path and check things out. We will go to the tourist spots too.
We want to snorkle as much as we can and try some local(not tourist) resturants. We plan to cook in the room some too, so how are the grocery stores?
I read through these boards to see some answers but I got tired of looking as they are soooo spread out.
There is a great supermarket in town called IGA. They have everything you could want. But be warned, it is a little pricely compared to what you are use to in the States.
