I never understood what people meant about being addicted to Aruba. I went to many islands and always loved them but when I came back I missed the sun and the vacation. Went to Aruba for the first time last April and missed the island in general. We were going to the Bahamas in October for our anniversary and at the last minute changed it to Aruba. We couldn't believe we were going to the same place twice in 6 mos. Guess what, we are leaving 4/13 once again with friends as excited as I was the first time.

Staying at the Radisson for the third time anyone else?? Are we addicted or not?????

Yeah, there's something about it. How else can you explain people who book a trip almost a year in advance? My wife and I have been there about 10 times now and I feel (as someone else mentioned) like it's our other home. We know the island well, rent a 4x4 and cruise the island like we own the place. It's the ocean, the weather, the activities, etc. But I think it's really the people that make it that way. My family and I spent Carnival Sunday along the main street with Aruban families that had set up tents, grills, chairs, etc. along the parade route. It was such a great atmosphere. Take a look at this board... many if the Americans are arguing with themselves while Charles is keeping the peace.

I am with you all...there is something definitely addicting about the island. Hey! I wish I could start a send sumjays and family to Aruba fund? It would be awesome to go more than once a year. last time we were there we met a couple who spend the entire winter there. My wife and I are talking about buying a small place down there when we retire in the next decade (too long). Another 4 inches of snow today!

We are also addicted...we have time sharing at the Aruba Beach Club- best investment we have ever made. We go two weeks (59 days to go) and feel like it's our second home..we used to stay at The Divi and the Ren..but LOVE our time-share...this is our 23rd trip to Aruba....went to Mexico for Christmas..it was great but NOT ARUBA...beaches could not compare...counting and ready to bite the bullet on April 30th...Bon Bini

about Aruba.

We've gone to Aruba every year for the past 4-5 years. We first went to Aruba for a medical conference and simply fell in love with the island. Every year when we plan our vacation we always wind up going back to Aruba. We usually book the trip in Feb when we've become totally depressed from all of the snow and ice. By the time vacation rolls around, we're totally fried..but we know that we will always have a perfect time in Aruba.

Going back to Aruba for my second time beginning of April..can't wait!!
