    Fun Activities

    Hello

My boyfriend and I are going to Aruba in July.

What would you recommend as the best company for ATV, Parasiling, windsurfing or horseback riding that's near the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort?

Would you know if most companies pick you up straight from the hotel?

    Thanks for your help!

go to this link and see the menu on the LEFT

    http://www.aruba.com/OurPeoplePlaces/activities.aspx

"best" is very subjective. if i suggest a place, you can be certain that someone else has a "better place".

and, horseback riding i LOVE laponderosa.
windsurfing, parasailing and ATV....i have no opinion, but many surely will.

most, if not all will pick u up at your hotel/resort.

Thanks Andrea! Would you have some favorite restaurants you would recommend to others in Aruba?

oh boy do i have my favorite restaurants.
    Madam Janette
    Wacky Wahoo
    B55
    Buccaneer

go over to culinary and culture and read about the gazillion or so restaurants.

    aruba's motto should be
"aruba.....too many restuarants, not enough days"

    Hi there,

Regarding good restaurants I would recommend quite a few. If you like dining on the beach I would recommend The flying fishbone, eventhough it's quite distance from the Holiday Inn (about 40 minutes by car), but it's one of my favourites! I love the Bucanneer though it has mixed reviews. Another restaurant well worth a visit is The promenade.

Now regarding activities I would recommend Jads for water excursions and Daimari ranch for ATV's. Eventhough Daimari offers horseback riding I would personally recommend El Paseo Ranch for horseback riding. I have toured with Daimari, La Ponderosa and Notorious in the past and recently with El Paseo which is a newer ranch and I highly recommend this ranch. Beautiful trails, great horses and very intimate/personal experience compared to the other more 'crowded' farms.

    what would you do.....

I have asked this a few years back, but with things changing and new people on here, I figured I would ask again......what would be the one thing you would do if you were ONLY allowed one thing to do on the island????
