We always stay at the Divi AI.
My bride and our neighbor get a (free) palapa near the beach bar while I do my daily routine at the Alhambra casino.
We dine 90% of the time at the buffet. It's just so convenient.
Pool, no. With that beach, why would you.
Wifi is now free resort wide but I have always used it pay or not.
We use Arubus to go downtown and taxis for all other trips.
It's all about relax, relax, relax.

Already booked for 2 weeks Nov '16.
10 more days until airfare open up for that period.

We have done all of the above.

Do you visit their Bar? Of course! Favorite has been the Playa Linda Beach bar, didn't care for Gilligans at the Radison (now Hilton)

Their restaurant(s) ? We typically will use the beach bar service for food during the day.

Use the pool? Surf Club - yes for the lazy river and pool bar, Best pool experience has been at the Radisson though. We didn't use the pool at Playa Linda, there is just nothing special about it.

Use the wifi? Is there a charge or free? Both - first time paying for it was Playa Linda and they have lots of options. It was worth it.

Use their palapas and lounges on the beach?yes, our favorite thing about Aruba.

Pay for palapa and lounges? We have paid, it's nice to not have to wait in line. I preferred the Radisson's system the best. We like to be up front and don't mind paying to avoid being up early or waiting in any line.

Pay for additional housekeeping services?[/QUOTE]t We paid for an extra cleaning at the Surf Club on our first visit. We didn't realize ahead of time you only got one cleaning. We really didn't need the extra and probably wouldn't do it again. At Playa Linda we actually skipped it 2 days because we felt our room was fine.
Not sure when, but we will be back

Do you visit their Bar? Required...!

Their restaurant(s) ? Sunset Grille and Laguna for breakfast at the Radisson (Hilton) and Mango's breakfast buffet at the Amsterdam Manor.

Use the pool? Loved it at the Radisson... not at AM.... too small, too many little people.

Use the wifi? Is there a charge or free? Yup! and free.

Use their palapas and lounges on the beach? Yup!

Pay for palapa and lounges? Occasionally at the Radisson for front row. Never at AM... front row always available.

Pay for additional housekeeping services? Never needed but sure it was available.

Do you visit the bar? Not as often as when Tom was able to drink. It is a good spot to people watch though

Their restaurants. At the Divi we went to the buffet restaurant. Rennaisance we did not use hotel restaurants

Use the pool? At the Divi, yes, when ocean was too rough. At Rennaisance, no.

Use the wifi, free or charge? At Divi we paid. This trip it was free in lobby only. Rennaisance it was free.

Use the palapas? Yes, free at Divi and Renaissance; paid at Radisson so we didn't have to wait in line

Pay for palapas? Just once, felt ripped off

Pay for additional housekeeping services? Never necessary

Do you visit their Bar? Yes - both the pool bar and the beach bar at Amsterdam Manor (many times throughout our stays).

Their restaurant(s) ? Always go to Mango's and Passions at least once per trip for dinner. We use their beach bar restaurant on occasion for lunch.

Use the pool? Rarely. Why use the pool when beautiful Eagle Beach is just steps away. Once in awhile we will spend an hour at the pool in the late afternoon on our way back from the beach. The pool is usually "dead" at that time and we have it all to ourselves.

Use the wifi? Is there a charge or free? Daily - and it's free.

Use their palapas and lounges on the beach? Yes - and free floats, too.

Pay for palapa and lounges? Never have to pay at Amsterdam Manor and they're available at any time of day (no need to get up early - vacations are for sleeping in and relaxing.) In the low season, you can always get a front row at most times of the day.

Pay for additional housekeeping services? Daily housekeeping is included (we leave a daily tip). Never needed anything additional but if we forget to put our dishes (couple of plates, glasses) in the dishwasher from breakfast the maid will hand wash them so we leave an additional tip when this happens.

Do you visit their Bar? Yes the beach bar at La Cabana for Happy Hour 2x1 on Frozen Drinks if I'm still at the beach and Pata Pata but not as often as I like to. I usually make a rum punch to take to the beach so I miss out on happy hour because I've had enough.

Their restaurant(s) ? Yes at La Cabana the Islander Grill and in the past Las Ramblas.

Use the pool? Hardly. Maybe 1 time during a 7 day stay at La Cabana but I would like to use it more often in the future after I come back from the beach and have lunch in the room.

Use the wifi? Is there a charge or free? Yes and its free for basic service at La Cabana and faster speed during the early morning.

Use their palapas and lounges on the beach? Yes

Pay for palapa and lounges? No they are free but I like to tip the guy who sets up the chairs $1.00. I usually ask for a sitting chair to read and a beach chair to rest.

Pay for additional housekeeping services? No but I leave a tip at the end of my trip..
