Im sorry for the loss....But

I'm writing from Canada and yes I am sorry for the Holloway's loss and have no disrepect for their family in any way. However, in regaurds to trying to Boy Cot a holiday to Aruba is a lil hipacritical. I am blown away how a crime that happens everyday in North America where children, teen's and even adults go unnoticed and missing and never found. Whos Boy Cotting that state or province? Doesnt it happen at Disney Land or or some famous Universal parks some times?
Whos throwing Mickey Mouse in the slamer for 90 days? (sorry Mickey need an example) You may not hear they are doing the best they can, but give the bennifit of the doubt and not a fricken Boy Cot. Go to Aruba and tell the hard working tourism people were sorry for this tragic event that has tarnished your beautiful city. Let do the best we can to support both parties and make a better way for it not to happen again. Every thing happens for a reason and the Holloway story may have saved thousands of young girls who may just now double think about venturing out on their own. I know I will

I also am sorry for their loss- but agree with you " totally"- those poor people should NOT be punished because their govt. has screwed up ...should we be punished here in the States for all the screw up's our own Govt. has caused...can't wait to get back to Aruba and all of the wonderful people of the Island...

Re: Im sorry for the loss....But

If they boycotted the U.S. for every unsolved crime or botched investigation, then there would be NO tourists in the U.S....The U.S. tries to play high and mighty even though we often get it wrong ourselves...

I am sorry for what MAY have happened to the girl, however she was an adult and should have known better then putting herself in that position...She was supposed to be such a "good girl", however she was boozing it up at the bar and drove off with three stangers...I don't care if you are in the U.S., Aruba or anywhere else, you put yourself in that position and nothing good is going to come of it...

Kee - Very well said. I only wish I could turn back " the hands of time ". Your are right that " things happen for a reason ", but I wish I could have saved her and all the young people that bad things happen to.

It's the " not knowing " that would torture my Soul " -- When I search my Soul - I know that if this was my Child - there would be no right or wrong - I would do anything and step on any one to find the answer.

I would use any and all means -- My Heart " Bleeds " for this family and all familys that have to go thru Live with this pain.

What does not kill you - Makes you stronger. <BigPapa>

Re: Im sorry for the loss....But

It is crazy to judge Aruba and it's people for this situation. I agree that it has been mishandled all the way around by the media, and others. So arent many of the crimes in the U.S.A. Why boycott?
