Information On The Tamarijn

Hello-Myself, my wife, and our two kids will be visiting Aruba in June. We are considering staying at the Tamarijn for our first time. Can anyone give us any information on this resort? We are previous owners at Costa Linda, so we are familiar with the Eagle beach area, but we are mainly interested in how the rooms are in terms of cleanliness, pools, etc. at the Tamarijn. Thank you in advance.

Simple as this, it doesn't get any better.
The activities for the young ones are all you could ask for, the rooms are excellent, cleanliness, well, it could only be better if you cleaned it yourself... top notch. Really. The pools are all well maintained, everything's seriously very good there.

Have fun, I'm on my way there in 4 days... you can't believe the buzz of anticipation right now... or maybe you can.

Re: Information On The Tamarijn

we are also going to Aruba in June and staying at the Divi. My parents have been staying there for 10 years and love both Divi and the Tam since you can use both places! I am very excited about the kids programs! We stayed at Marriott last year and this year I think the kids will enjoy this program a lot better. If you send them an email they can send you the daily list for the kids activities and the times! When in June will you be there and how old are the kids? Mine are 10 & 6.

We will be returning to the Tamarijn in 4 days. This is our 3 trip and can't imagine staying anywhere else. The service is great, the food and drinks are wonderful and the rooms are clean and nice. It is an amazing place! The water is literally steps from your room!

Re: Information On The Tamarijn

Okay, it's Wednesday, the plane leaves on Saturday morning, my lovely wife has every suitcase in the house out, (all we really need is a little bit of night time clothing and a load of bathing suits.... sheesh...)
At any rate, we're off to paradise in just under three days.
Wired? Yes...
Looking forward to the beach? Yes...
Enough of the silly questions, time to go pack.

See you all in a few days,

be well, brightest blessings

Re: Information On The Tamarijn

the rooms are very adequate; clean & comfortable. Whats nice about the Tam that differs form the Divi is that all of the rooms are not only ocean view, but ocean accessable. You're right there on the beach! Te staff are courteous and friendly. You'll want for nothing, they really are top notch.

Be sure to check out Ginger's, which is the new Asian rerstaurant. I haven't been yet, but will be there in July. Also be sure to go with the option to use the Divi's facilities as well because the Red Parrot restaurant is a hidden gem of Aruba. The new pizza bar at the Tam is worth the price of admission as well. It's a fun place all in all to relax, &soak up some sun. especially with children. They will not get bored. the pool is simple, clean & perfect. & just a few feet form the pizza bar so everyone's happy!

Enjoy

Re: Information On The Tamarijn

My husband and I love it. We will be going back for our third time in June.(24-30). The staff are so friendly. Your room is basically right on the beach!! To wake up every morning and see nothing but the beautiful carribean Oh how sweet!! Your children will have a GREAT time. I highly recommend this hotel!!

There buffet has a different theme every night. My husband and I enjoyed the food. It's not a 5* quality but hey for buffet it can't be beat.

I hope you enjoy your trip. I'm already counting down the days.
