Insulated Cup and Beach Safety Vault

I just ordered two items for our December aruba trip after reading some great new tips on this forum. We 1st ordered an insulated 16oz doubled wall tumbler with lid and straw from Tumbler Bay in Myrtle Beach S.C. These were not cheap at $12.99 each but they are a custum design and will save you money in the long run. We bought the optional lid and straws too since we found a $5.00 off online coupon just poking around online. Love to have a cold cocktail on the beach because it gets so hot, relaxing at the beach. They have alot of cool designs to pick from. We thought it was worth it since we take long walks on the beach and a wasted drink is "alcohol abuse" in Aruba. I got the palm tree one and my Susan got the pug one. They have initials and all kinds of diff. designs to choose from. No hot drinks this time around for us!
We then ordered the vacation vault from home depot. $19.99 + tax and got a free shipping promo discount poking around online. Not that we worry or think there is alot of crime, but it would be nice to lock up phone, camera and such when walkng the beach or swimming-you never know. For $20.00 bucks its woth having some protection.
    Always great tips here:
    Clothes pins-for towels
    Soft cooler for drinks
Get duty free booze on plane -saves $$$
Bring zip lock plastic bags for snacks and such
Ling and Sons for beerand snacks and "cheese".
Get happy hour list for local bars- 2 for one-save $$$$
Aruba discount cell- call Trees a great $ saver to call home
Rent a car for under $200.00 a week- great way to explore island
    Zeerovers for fresh fish
Mamas take-away. Best take away lunch and cheap too.

We love getting the inside scoop from the regulars here.

    Thanks so Much,
    Sean and Susan

    NICE!
we have a cabinet full of those kind of tumblers, except ours are TERVIS.

the only glassware we have left in the house are wine glasses.

we brought 4 to aruba a couple of years ago, a 2, 16 oz and 2, 22 oz.
left them there in our timeshare storage box.
we use them for HOT and COLD beverages.

many many great suggestions and insider info here on the aruba.com community forum.

enjoy your tumblers and vacation vault!

Your right Andrea. You guys put alot of time into this forum. We love checking out the tips here. Nothing like getting advice from someone who has been to Aruba for many years. Out of the regulars here who has been going to Aruba the longest?
    Thanks so Much,
    Sean and Susan
