ist time on Jet Blue

Hi
We are flying direct both ways for the ist time on Jet Blue. Flying out of Boston @7am & our flight out of Aruba is @ 12:30 Both on Saturdays.
My questions are How is Jet Blue as far as checking in?? Is 2 or 3 hours enough time in Boston?? What about the Aruba airport?? What time do you suggest we get there?? Leaving on May 31 returning on June 7th.
This will be our 4th trip, Love Aruba. We just have never flown with Jet Blue & never even bee to their terminal.
Thanks so much for your help!

#1 always go by what your airline tells you. Each airline, depending upon destination and departure city has various requirements. Some have time limits as to how late you can check-in your luggage prior to your flight.

In Jet Blue's case:
"Cut-off Time for Checking In for International Flights
All customers must be checked in for their flight at least 60 minutes prior to
scheduled departure and must be in the gate area at least 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

We will not be liable for any charges incurred for baggage that was checked
late, nor will we be liable for delivery or compensation for late-checked baggage."

#2 Aruba's airport on a Saturday is USUALLY jam packed. It is one of the biggest days of travel and in Aruba, one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, days of turnover in timeshare acommodations. You have been to AUA before so you know all about going through US Customs and Immigrations. Definitely arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to your departure from Aruba. Hopefully you will not suffer long lines, but if you do, you will be thankful.

We Are Going Jet Blue From Boston On Weds 4/9 - Will Let You Know How It Goes. I Have Never Taken It To Aruba But Have Gone To Florida Before On It And Loved It. We Are Going Weds To Weds So I Hope The Airport In Aruba Will Be A Little Less Crowded? Also. Does Anyone Know If They Have Horseback Riding On The Beach?

We flew Jet Blue the past two years, no problems at all, lines went very quickly. Saturdays are brutal though, will never do that again, just make sure you have plenty of time and you will be fine. Speaking of Jet Blue I have been looking for flights in Sept/October and see NOTHING direct, anyone know whats up with that???

We just got back on sat., flew jet blue for the first time also. Loved it, will fly them again last year. we took the same flight as you are going to, Boston, we got there at 4:45am and went right through no problems. They tell you three hours in aruba so we did and those that waited stood in long lines but everybody made the flight. The only hold up we had was after checking in had to wait for the USA section to open, was supposed to open at 10 and didn't open until 10:45 to get your bags and go through customs, the line was outside waiting.
