You'll be arriving to the Tam just as I am leaving (we leave on the 18th) ... I'll make sure I don't eat & drink everything in sight - haha!

    45 days for me!! :-D

Smile 2 Days Away from 1st trip to Aruba!

Greetings from New York State! I will be travelling with my husband and 2 children along with 9 other family members this Sunday and am so excited! Thanks to my brother's time share membership, we are staying at one of the Divi resorts in Oranjestad. Does anyone have any feedback on the Divi resorts? I was disappointed to learn that there aren't many Wi-fi hotspots where we are staying, because I was hoping to have the option of movies and other online activities for my kids when we are in our room. I'm sure they will survive, but I spent money on a tablet PC specifically for this vacation.

Thanks to lots of posts I read here several months back, I was able to arrange a date with Reverend Gibson to perform a surprise wedding vow renewal for my husband and me for our 15th anniversary. Is anyone familiar with the famous "Old Pelican piers"? That is where we are supposed to meet him and I can't seem to find anything about it online.

Also, if anyone has suggestions for activities with chikdren (ages 3 and 11), I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks everyone! Can't wait to arrive in Aruba!

    Welcome to the forum.

I believe the meeting spot referred to is the pilings between the Tamarijn and Divi resorts, closest to the Divi.

Click on the thumbnail to view the pilings

    For activities

Butterfly Farm, Ostrich Farm and Donkey Sanctuary

Enjoy the visit..... With all the activities and beach time that the little people will be doing.... I don't think you'll have to worry too much about entertaining them in the room!

I love the beach (who doesn't?), anywhere that I can snorkel, The Donkey Sanctuary (much to the dismay of my daughter), the lighthouse.

MPC111, we will be neighbors! We will arrive at the Surf Club on August 7th. I am so excited! I am wearing last year's Lazy River bracelet today...just for practice!

WHICH DIVI property are you staying? Does your resort provide "pay for" internet access? not free but wireless.
