A month or so ago I was talking to a local friend of mine and he said they were having a major issue with the jelly fish. Did they leave yet? I hope so...chris

My family and I were in Aruba 7/1 - 7/8/06. Stayed at the La Cabana and went to the beach every day. We did not see any jellyfish. There was a little seaweed floating around in the water one day but it wasn't nothing you'd get tangled up in, just pushed it away. The water in Aruba is just so nice to swim in, no big waves, just very calm water, nothing like we're used to with New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware beaches. Wish we were going back. Relax and enjoy your trip !

I was just there for two weeks June 25 till July 11. I have never seen jelly fish there.

Like Timothy/Phila, I was there June 24th until July 1st and I didn't encounter one jellyfish.
