    Red face July 4th

    Hi Everyone!

I will be in Aruba for the 4th of July, obviously I know that this is not their independence day, however I was reading that there are Fireworks and events. I read that the Fireworks are put on by the Hyatt.

Any recommendations of the best places to watch or see the fireworks? Or any other events happening on the island for the 4th?

    Thank you!

    Danielle

Welcome to the forum. Anyplace on Palm Beach will give you a great view. A couple of years ago we saw them from Passions on the Beach followed by another display south of Passions. Last year we watched from the Manchebo beach.... Ok view.... and then there was another display... I think at one of the Divi properties. We always plan our trips around the 4th of July. The fireworks display is relatively short.... but quite well done and well worth seeing.

Thank you for the quick response! Maybe we will change the day of our reservation at Passions! Any good bar or something casual along Palm Beach?

I also believe they go off around 9pm? Thank you and maybe we will see you there! Bon Dia!

We were staying at the Tamarijn over 4th of July last year and they set up a barge between the Divi and Tamarijn properties. I want to say the show started around 9 or 9:30pm and lasted about 15 minutes. It was pretty awesome to see fireworks over the Caribbean!

Thank you everyone for all the feedback! We opted with Pelican's Nest for 8pm! I think that would be a great view if I'm not mistaken & perfect timing! 17 Days cannot come soon enough!!
