In 2009 my husband and I were out strolling one evening and started walking down the little stretch of beach nex tto the Renaissance (toward the airport) we realized that we could walk all the way to the cool bar/rest out in the water... we didn't that night bt we thought about it. Anyway last year we decided we were going to walk down there but due to ALL of the crazy rain the little beach was gone and we could no longer walk the beach down to the cool little bar/rest. So my question is does anyone knowif the little beach area is back??

i am guessing Pinchos.... it is the one in the water with lights and live music....

Yep, it was Pinchos. Was just in that area in May (and had dinner at Pinchos) and yes, the little beach area (Surfside Beach) is back again.

Thank you Amy! When we get this close to go time I have random thoughts about things I want to make sure we do on this trip! I booked an extra day so hopefully I will get a few things accomplished... besides a great tan!

Also along that stretch is the new walking path being built.
