Kentucky Derby
I'm from Kentucky and I'll be in Aruba for the Derby this year. Does anyone know if there are any Derby parties on the island?

I'd venture to say no since the vast majority of people that visit there are from the East Coast.

We've been in Aruba during Derby Day before and we never miss it. We make our own Derby party in our room - champagne, cheese, crackers, etc.

They are actually the exact same thing. One has rum and the other has Kentucky bourbon. Pretty good idea Cosmo!!

We were in Aruba a few years back for Kentucky Derby and were in Champions in the Marriott and there was a big crowd and some guy started a pool and my husband won 75.00 on it. I don't know if they still get a big crowd now but it may be worth a try if that's what you are looking for. Enjoy your trip we will be there 5/8 for 2 weeks!!
