Labor Day Weekend?

Hi All ~ We arelooking into booking a trip to Aruba over Labor Day weekend! How is the island that time of year? Is it generally busy or is that a slow time of year?

Thanks in advance!

Sept. is the quietest month on the island (which is why we love going in Sept. every year.)

the island tends to end its "busy summer time" a week or so before labor day.
so many school systems are back to school b4 labor day, hence parents with school aged kids hot foot it off island!

is the island dead on labor day???.........absolutely not, but it is considerably quieter than 2 weeks previous. and as amy says "september is the quietest month" as you get further out beyond labor day thru mid november is a very slow time on aruba..........and imo an ideal time to visit.

We spent Labor Day week at the Surf Club in 2010 and it was a great week. A bit quiter as the American kids are back in school with more Venezuelans at the resort. The restaurants were definitely easier to get into, although i would still recommend reservations at the more popular places and the weather was great.

We love going in the fall, the past few years we have gone in October but this year we are going over Labor day to take advantage of an extra day off from work!!! We have been in the spring too but really love the quieter pace of fall...and less kids. Not that I dont love kids but we don't bring our own for a reason
