I will be staying at LaCabana in April I was told that it was under new management and the villas out back are now under separate management and the check is now in the back also are all the pools open? Any other information about any changes would be helpful. I was last there in 2003.

It was either Dec.27 or 28th that they opened the Front Desk for check-in and check-out at the Villas. I know because I was doing laundry at 2 a.m. and the desk was being set-up. If you are staying at the Villas, you will go right to the Villa check-in. Everything is now separate.

The swim-up bar / waterside pool at the Villas's was under repair for months. it reopened Jan. 1st.

we went in December and stayed in the villa's in the back and still checked in at the regular check in.
All pools up and running now.

Just returned in Feb. 7 nights at the Racquet Club and 4 nites at the Villas - everything separate and all running. all pools open.
