How long has that casino been closed, anyone know? I want to say that it hasn't been opened since before 2003?

Is that the casino that stands alone with the exterior being all tinted windows? I don't know if I'm thinking of the right casino when the reference is to the La Cabana Casino.

I was there in 2003 & 2004 and the one with the tinted windows is the one i went to. It's also the only one i knew about so i'm probably not much of a help.
I'm looking forward to my trip sept. 29th so i'll check it out.

Royal Cabana Casino closed around the end of 2005.

I'm mad at myself that we didn't check it out in 03 and 04! Probably because we were staying in the High Rise area and didn't venture there. Will check it out this year for sure. It indicates that it's the biggest casino, so I assume it's bigger than the Al Hambra?

in 2003 and in 2004 the royal cabana casino was doing its spiral downward.

believe me, you did not miss out on anything................................in those years, there were many broken slot machines, poor lighting, indifferent staff, by mid 2004 it was pretty bad. last time we were in there was in sept 2004 and it was terrible then.

maybe the gillman group will do miracle work on the place.

I'm always up for checking out a new spot when it comes to casinos. I hope it's ready for us in March.
