Just got back from two weeks at Paradise Beach Villas next door to La Cabana. We walked over to Glitz a number of times. It's a nice casino. Clean and not a lot of smoke in the room. The vast majority of slots (my wife tells me) are penny slots with just a few nickel, quarter and dollar slots thrown in.

I spent my nights at the $5 blackjack table and did better than usual.

All in all, since the Glitz is so close by and a pleasant place to gamble, I'm sold!

Did they have $2.50 chips on the blackjack tables?

Thanks. How did they pay blackjacks of $5, $15, $25, etc.? For a 3-2 payoff $5 blackjack pays $7.50. Did they use quarters, 25 cent chips, 50 cent chips? Or do they pay 6-5?

I saw no chips smaller than $1.

You get $7. in chips plus $1 chip that's part of your next bet. You win the next hand, you keep the extra $1 chip. You lose, it's gone.

Also, my personal experience is that you cannot win at the roulette tables.
