Laundry (Palm Beach area) ?

Hello all,

I am staying in Aruba for a week at the Westin. I've been told by the hotel that they don't have laundry machines but there is per item laundry service. I gather that's going to be expensive. Anyone know of any close-by (ideally walking) places to do a quick load of laundry....like a laundromat or another hotel that allows non-guests to use their coin operated machines? It's only a week and I can probably get away without but I always seem to run out of clean socks....

There is a new laundromat just opened up next to Wendy's called the Quickie Lickie.. they offer self service and drop off service from what I am hearing.

across the street from the westin is "the mill" resort.
the mill has coin operated washers and dryers.

re: clean sox or undies
1. wash and rinse them out in your bathroom sink and place in the sun to dry. be careful the wind does not blow them away.

I stay at the westin every feb. For 3 weeks . I send my clothes to be done by them and the costs are inexpensive. My total bill is around 135.00 for many items.

There is a new self service laundromat just 2 minutes drive or 12 minutes walk from westin called Quickie Lickie at the Palm Beach 186 located next to Wendy's. It is wipe card operated wire you can recharge the dollar amount to your card at the machine located at the laundrymat. You can stop by the concierge desk at the westin and they have a card that you can use. The laundrymat also offers drop off service to the westin. The cost is $5 to $10 additional depending on the load.

There used to be a laundramat in the vicinity of the Playa Linda. Not sure if it is still there.

I really did do a search
first for laundry and got 6 pages of rental properties.

then did a search for laundramat and found this thread.


Any one know if this place is still there?


Paying 135.00 to do laundry is not an option.

We are on the island for 7 days then off to disney for the labor day weekend then I have to go to work.

Would save me a great deal of time to do laundry while I am in aruba.

on the corner of palm beach rd, at the lights, near wendys, about a block before Wacky Wahoo, there is a coin laundry
