    Thanks for posting this interesting article. I would love to witness a turtle hatching and it is very helpful to be aware of the don'ts!!

    While we were on the island, two nesting areas were fenced off during the 2nd week. One near Costa Linda and the other near Divi Winds water sports building adjacent to the Tamarijn. Guess we should have been sitting on the beach that evening. Never been there for hatching.

    When do the turtles hatch, what time period after they lay eggs? We will be there beginning May, thanks

    We were there at the end of July, first couple days of Aug last yr and saw two nests of baby turtles emerge. It was
    absolutely fantastic, one of the best things I've ever witnessed....so I guess late July/early Aug is the time to see it
