Little League Baseball GOOD news.

After 33 years, a few ours ago the Aruba little league team 11-12 years old just beat the Virgen Island. They are now the 2011 Caribbean champions and now they are going to Williamsport for the world series little league.

Awesome. (Was also a "baseball mom" so I can only imagine how proud their parents must be!) Oh gosh, I hope they don't end up playing the US team - who would we cheer for??

i will cheer for both!
after all it is about having fun, participating and sportsmanship..........winning is terrific, but the event itself is what its all about. i hope they enjoy the moment and their trip to the usa.

Williamsport is a great town. We drive through it when we go to and From Carlisle. On the way down we stop at "Perkins" for lunch and it filled with parents of players. On the way home on Sunday, day of the big game, It is bedlam.
Lots of "Trading Card" shops near the park.

Awesome!

We have two boys who just finished thier little league all star tournaments from Manassas, Virginia. Unfortunately they did not make it as far as Williamsport. We watch all of the little league games and will be rooting for Aruba!
