    Lost necklace...

Hi, My daughter and her husband just returned from another wonderful week at LaCabana. All was perfect except, she lost her necklace. They were on the beach at LaCabana and in the water there. The necklace is not very expensive however it was her Grandma's ring who has passed.(The ring has been customized into a different shape and made into a pendent for a necklace.) The sentimental value is priceless!! She is heartbroken! They did let Management know and I am just trying to ease the pain. A reward is offered that is more than the $$ value of the necklace. TKS!!!!! Just going on a wing and prayer.......

If you can get a little more specific information from your daughter. I'll give it a shot. Specifically if she thinks it was lost in the water while swimming far out, which palapa they occupied the day it was lost, playing volleyball. Any and all info regardless how trivial she may think it is could help.

I join with Andrea welcoming you to the "Forum."

Many things are more priceless than the material worth. I just hope that "tnt-K9" or any other "Forum Member," can find this necklace.

    Good luck.

    Blondie,

Throw me a bone. I've spent about 8 hours combing LaCabana's beach and water. Yesterday after 2 hours in the water I had to quit due to the lightning and early stages of hypothermia. 6 hours in the water and 2 hours under the palapas. If it was lost in the sand or on the road walking back to the resort it's a slim chance of finding it. If it was lost in the water there is still a chance. Even it she was out deep, I dive, but you have to provide some info.

When we were by the beach we were stationed at the first Palapas, all the way to the right. I was there most of the day, walked down to the water but didn't go more than 15 feet in the water from shore. I cannot express How much it means to me that you are looking for it. Thank you.
