Let's have some fun! For those who have been blessed with visiting Aruba, what is your funniest experience there?

I have many but if I had to chose one, it would be this....

It was time to book our honeymoon and we were looking for some place different to go and picked Aruba. Our first full day there was spent in the sun while enjoying the wonderful cocktails Mario created and over-indulged while tanning and swimming in the ocean. We had made reservations for a romantic dinner to celebrate our marriage. We dressed the best we could (thanks Mario!) and while waiting for our dinner, my new husband fell asleep at the table. Now, I don't mean head tilted to the side. No, his head was on the table and he was soundly sleeping. I thought I was going to die in the candle light while others looked on and I was so embarrassed until our waiter suggested he take our picture, which we did, me smiling and hubby snoring. This picture has been blown up and is now sitting just behind my computer monitor which I look up at a lot and still laugh. That was 7 years ago and since then, every year, we have celebrated our wedding anniversary in Aruba. We are headed to Aruba again in 2 weeks to celebrate another anniversary I can promise you he won't be falling asleep because he's afraid of missing the great food!

my funniest memory was years ago on our first trip and the guys bought "putty" downtown. When you stick your finger in it it emits "some embarrasing noises" Well needless to say... they got carried away and did it in a cab, the elevator, and of course we did laugh. one of the funniest times was when they did it in a cab, and the cab driver rolled down his windown and said "OH PLEASE!!!!" To this day we still laugh about it.

It's good you have the pic - so he can't use the "I was just resting my eyes" line.

My husband was swimming in the pool at the Radisson, I was lounging in the chair watching him playfully splash an Iguana. I told him to leave it be in the sun and Mark replied " I'm just cooling the big guy off, he looks hot" I told Mark that "that big guy looks like he's getting mad" and that "if he didn't stop messing with him, that I hope he bites your nose" Well, not 1 second later, as if I gave the Iguana the ok....he jumped 2 feet towards Mark and went for his nose. I never saw my husband swim outta there so fast. I was laughing so hard that I almost pee'd in my pants. To this day evertime we see an Iguana, Mark and I laugh.

hey, better he fell asleep there then on your stomach! would that be possible?

April will be my 5th visit to Aruba. I must say, the same funny thing happens to me every time. I love the banana boats! My daughter is petrified of them, but goes to keep me happy. Every time I go on them, my bathing suit bottom ends up at my knees. The last time this happened, I jumped in the water purposely to save myself from embarrassment. However, this will not stop me from doing it again and again.

I'm glad you liked the story. We are heading down in 25 days and I bet Mark will not be splashing the Iguana's this trip! I just hope that Iguana doesn't remember him and decide to stalk Mark while we are by the pool!!!! Actually, I know this sounds mean, but it would be funny if that Big Guy was waiting for him!!!!
