Manchebo Resort

I recently booked a couple of days at the Manchebo Resort for July. Anyone have experiences they would like to share...positive or otherwise. Thanks!

Re: beachs

Will be going 4/26 to 5/9, anyone know if those are the weeks the locals set up on the beachs. We were there one year when they were there, and met some wonderful people
TIA Ken

Re: Manchebo Resort

The hotel is just a Best Western--nothing fancy. However, the beach is gorgeous, it is close to a lot things including the Alhambra Casino, and it has one of the best restaurants in Aruba on the premises--The French Steakhouse.

Re: Manchebo Resort

We had to stay 1 night in January because our flight was delayed due to the blizzard. The beach is nice, but there is a serious drop-off at the shoreline, so be careful. The wave bring coral and rock at a very fast pace at your feet and ankles on that beach. We walked down to the Divi's Beach which was much calmer and not as rocky. The TV is very European based (no FOX) a lot of stations with subtitles.

Re: Manchebo Resort

I love Manchebo and am ready to go back. I have been there twice. The beach is beautiful, the food great. You might request room 1.

Re: Manchebo Resort

I stayed at the Manchebo last August for 3 nights before my timeshare at the Costa Linda began. We loved it. We also did the All inclusive. The room was basic but spotless, had a coffee maker, fridge, hairdryer, safe, A/C and shampoos, lotions in the bath. I would recommend getting an oceanview or ocean front room. The beach is the best in Aruba. Plenty of palapas. the staff was great especially Nacio at the pool bar. The French Steakhouse is one of the best restaurants on the island. Had breakfast at the outdoor restaurant and lunch at the pool bar. All food was great. Has a nice gift shop and car rental on site. (Jansen.) I will definitely return there. Go and enjoy!!!
