does anyone know how far it is to margarita island and if there is anyway of getting there from aruba? day trips?

Margarita Island is off the coast of Venezuela. Why would you want to go there for a day trip when you have Aruba?

To get to Margarita Island you have to go through Caracas and travel to there is not recommended at the present time.

Why would you want to go there? Have you been or even heard about this island? Stopped there on a cruise, this is not the place to go especially when you are in a beautiful place like ARuba!

Its pretty far. Don't think any easy way to get there. No day trips. Might be a Island Jumper plane that will take you there but cost might be $$$. Took a day tour of the island around January 4th and while it was interesting do not think I would want to spend $$$ to go there on mine own. We were the only cruise ship docked there. Next day in Aruba there were 3 cruise ships.

There are flights to Venezuela (make sure you have your passport or don't bother..it's a quick flight- cost?? Why?? Aruba is much nicer and alot safier!! Beware- Venezuela is really not into us Americans at this time (if you are an American)

Don't know if you can get there right now from the island, but do know that my husband was there a couple of years ago and was diappointed. You'll love Aruba so don't waste your time going there, not too safe.

i understand u love aruba, i have never been will be my first time. i'm sure it will be a blast.

just wanted to know how far it was, i have been there a couple of times. I love margarita island.

If you love margarita island why are you coming to Aruba and looking for a way to go to Margarita Island?

On a clear night you can sit on the beach and see the "lights of Venezuela"- that's close enough for me!!
