marriage license

I keep reading that you need to bring your marriage license if your name is different than on your birth cert. Since this is my second marriage do I need to bring both marriage certificates?

Re: marriage license

it's not the birth certificate that will be the problem, women get married and have new last names but the birth certificate stays the same. it's the name on your photo id and the airline tickets. if the tickets were purchased under your present married name and your photo id has your present married name then there is no problem. if the photo id has your maiden name then bring your new marriage certificate. if you have the time, you should get a passport, it would eliminate any problems.

Re: marriage license

I was also married twice. I not only took my first and second marriage certificate but even took my divorce decree, just to play it safe. But, didn`t need either one. All you need is your birth certificate, with a raised seal, and a photo ID. Your ticket has to match the name on your ID.
Have a great trip!
