I'm wondering if any of you have used these 'bucks' at the Marriott properties.
They state you must be a registered guest with a 2 night stay. We will be staying at the Marriott Ocean Club but plan to use the spa (charged to our room) at the Marriott Stellaris.
I've never used these before and don't want to have something that is useless to me.
Any input is greatly appreciated!

Staying at the Marriott Surf Club in May on Marriott points. What are Bonus Bucks and where do you get them?

The bonus bucks can not be used at the Marriott properties. They can be used at many restaurants, tour operators and water sport vendors (Red Sail is one that I remember). We used ours at restaurants and they were treated like cash. The timeshare folks provide you with a list of vendors and there's no problem using them.

Actually that is false. You can use them at the hotel, many of the restaurants qualify for the bonus bucks.

According to the rules on the bucks, you can use the bonus bucks at the hotel. $100 per 2 night paid stay and they put a credit on your account to use throughout the hotel, restaurants etc. Has anyone used them at the hotel?

Vicki, I read about Bonus Bucks on another BB and have found them listed on Ebay. Apparently, you are able to earn them for different stays, though I do not know of anyone who has done so, personally. You can read the terms and conditions on the listings on Ebay.

Debbi, you must have been using something other than what I'm describing as these Bonus Bucks are ONLY good at Marriott properties (not their lower end like Fairfield) and are redeemed ONLY at the front desk for charges to one's room. They specifically state you cannot use them at vendors or restaurants; they are credited to your account.

I contacted the Marriott Ocean Club about being able to use them and got a very elusive answer. I'm bidding on them anyway - hope they'll be of use to us.

I've used The Marriott Bonus Bucks before. You must stay 2- nights and give the $100 Bucks at check-in which you will see the credit on your bill.

Are these the bonus bucks you can get for trading in Marriott points? For example we are looking at trading in 60,000 points for three dinners for two at any Marriot restaurants. Do the certificates come in bonus bucks are they earned a different way.
