A note from the construction concierge at the Marriott Stellaris - just FYI:

"The rooms re-do will start with the South Tower on July 7, 2007 and is anticipated to be completed by mid-September 2007. Renovations will then move to the North Tower of the Resort until mid October 2007. The final upgrades will take place in the Atrium Rooms and our Lobby, starting mid-October and scheduled to be done by December 4, 2007."

any one have the very latest update on the construction at the marriott? leaving 10/3 and can't wait !

We Were There From August 17-31 At The Ocean Club/surf Club. They Had Completely Gutted The Rooms In The First Tower And The Sheetrock Was Going In At That Time. I Don't Know If They're Going To Be Finished By Mid September Though. But They Were Working Mon-sat With A Large Crew So Anything Is Possible. One Thing About The Marriott Properties In Aruba, They Come In Pretty Close To Any Completion Dates.
