Marriott Surf Club

Going there in a few weeks does anyone have any updates on the construction since last june 2006.

Are the docks still there, did they add more palapas, are the other two buildings complete, is the AC working?

Just curious

Re: Marriott Surf Club

Pat,

We were there in January 2007 - The docks are moved closer to Moomba's. They did add more palapas, and they now have biminis, which are lounge chairs with canopies attached.

The airconditioning was working well. In January, the outside of the last two buildings was almost done.

The lazy river was great and they have an air pump by the towel hut to blow up tubes and rafts for the lazy river.

The Hadicurari restuarant in front of the Surf Club was torn down -- there's a volley ball net there now.

The new Hadicurari is up and running and closer to Moomba's -- in front of the new docks.

Have a great vacation!

Re: Marriott Surf Club

The Hadicurai Pier is there, other than that there are palapas and watersport booths. Surf club pool seemed jam packed, we stayed at the Ocean Club.
