    May evening weather

I'm a newbie here so I hope I'm doing this right. I was wondering how warm the weather is at night during May? Will I need light sweaters? Long pants? From what I can tell, looks like 80ish during evenings which sounds pretty nice.

Thank you in advance for your help

you may need a sweater, not for outdoors, but for restaurants or casinos that sometimes get chilly.
long pants, imo no..never not in aruba.
since your username implies you are a woman…evenings, can be shorts, or a skirt or a sundress.

(man…..evenings docker style shorts or khaki slacks…my husband has not worn slacks in Aruba in many years)

there was a day about 5 or 6 years ago, in february where it was somewhat chilly. it was a cloudy windy day and i wore a sweatshirt for a couple of hours poolside. that was incredibly unusual.

Every year my DH packs a pair of jeans, and EVERY year they don't make it out of the suitcase.
Every year I pack a jacket, and EVERY year it stays in the suitcase. Ohioans, and probably many northerners, have the knee jerk reaction to always take a jacket whenever they leave home. It can be 80 in the morning here and 59 by evening. We can go through all 4 seasons in one day.

I agree with Andrea regarding the need for a sweater. Restaurants and casinos seem to always have the AC blowing.

We will be in Aruba in June, and I've

One of the nice things about Aruba is that the temperatures hardly fluctuate during the year. As I recall, the average highs and lows differ about 6F from the coldest month to the warmest month. You won't need any more clothing than you choose to wear to remain decent.

Restaurants, casinos, stores tend to be a bit chilly at night, especially if you catch a few too many rays during the day

I never stop wearing shorts/short sleeve shirt/flip flops my entire stay, and I've been out and about around the clock

One of the great things about aruba go from swim suit to shorts and a nice shirt, of course the women look beautiful in anything. The countdown has started!
