Re: MCM TOURS
I'm not commenting to discourage MCM Tours, but you people want an example and I will give you one. I have used MCM Tours 4 times to Aruba and had one bad experience with an acceptable ending. A couple of years ago a booked a trip with MCM and as usual I recieved all the paperwork on time, looked at it briefly, and then into the safe until the day before travel as we drive down to Boston and do a park and fly the night before. Everything was smooth until we get to the ticket counter and when I present the tickets to the ticket agent, she can't find me in the computer or my wife, come to find out. MCM had booked out tickets for the following day to depart. Luckily there were some seats available and with the 100.00 dollar per person change fee we were off to Aruba. I had called MCM and left them a message on the answering machine at about 4:30 in the morning telling them of my displeasure and by the time I reached Aruba, 4 1/2 hours later, Amy had called and said that they had already credited my credit card the 200.00 and apologized and that was it. I enjoyed my 2 weeks in Aruba and when I got back, went online and they never credited my account. It took almost a month to get it done, but they did do it. Would I use them again? Most definately as they are usually most efficient, but they haven't been able to match or beat the prices I have gotten in the past 3 or 4 trips there. I always give them first shot, but hey, they have to make their money to, but why pay the extra? That's a couple of extra meals at El Gaucho or someplace else in Aruba.
