    Medical Urgencies not emergencies.

Jacki, in her "Aruba Story" mentioned that her adult daughter had to make a trip to the doctor.

Many of us have had to make such a trip for many different maladies.

The Urgent Care gets great reviews, there are "other " options too.

Most, if not all of the resorts have a "house doctor". Although not on site, usually just a phone call away.
There is a fee to speak with the physician by phone unless the physician feels you need to be seen, then the phone fee is waived.
He/she will direct you where to go (his/her office or the ER)

Also too, the ER has been accepting urgent care folks. More expensive than the urgent care, but not terribly much more.

In Jacki's daughter's situation, they were already familiar with an ENT physician, called, made and appointment and were quite pleased.
Both of Jacki's boys had bad ear infections a year or 2 ago that sidelined them for a few days.
This particular ENT came highly recommended to them.

Save your receipts so that you can submit for reimbursement from your insurance.
