We have reservations for the Mill as of 11/30/05. I have been to Aruba for the past 18 years and have visited many of the other hotels in the Hi-Rise with great satisfaction. This time, due to a special price,we decided to try the Mill as a change. We have been there to enjoy their happy hours many times but I have reservations about not having a "pool". What is the time frame for its completion. Will it be ready by 12/1/05? In that its off the ocean front, I believe a pool is a must.
If not completed , due we have access to the Wyndham facilities, including pool beach and other services?
I will be at the Mill Nov 26, and according to Mr. Morgan, the GM, it will be finished by then, i think he told me early Nov was their completion date..so, no worry there.. Yea, i agree, HH is awesome with Randle..see u there
You have to walk around to the left of the Wyndham to use a beach reserved for the Mill resort guests. Wyndham security has lovcked the doors in their usual unfriendly manner to keep you out of the lobby (one reason we no longer go to the Wyndham). Look for red poles and red lounge chairs. There is also a small towel hut and an attendant for you there.
Leeper,
Didn't know that the MILL pool was out of commission. In most cases when a resort that has a pool has a long term repair or maintenance issue, they most often make arrangements with a nearby facility. I cacn only assume that if the MILL pool is down for a long term, that theuy have done the same thing.
I have stayed at the Mill several times in the past - the rooms were nice, the staff friendly, the facility clean. The Mill is a great place if you want a less expensive alternative. The short walk to the beach is no big deal!
