Should I keep it open to just Ren owners that know of the island and parrots? I thought it might be a good idea to leave it open just to get the general feeling across the board. What do you think?

If you are presenting this survey to the board of directors of the Timeshare Owners Association then I would think that it would only be appropriate for owners to comment.

If you are presenting it to management of the resort then imho, it should include owners and guests.

Well if this survey works in favor of bringing the parrots back who should it get presented to? That's the confusing part. Once that is figured out then we can move forward. I wanted to keep it a sinple survey. Something on the lines of this:

The parrots on Renaissance Island have been removed due to some time share owners who have complained about the noise they make. Everyone I have ever spoken to enjoyed seeing the parrots so I wanted to post a poll just to see how you feel about this.

    Then have 3 choices.
Bring the Parrots back we miss them.
    It doesn't matter either way
I am glad the parrots have been removed

What do you think, I am open to all suggestions.

    * DISCLOSURE
i am not a renaissance owner
but have been to the private island several (10 or more) times
and i like the tropical birds, those wandering about and those caged.

I do not think that you should include in your poll:
    "It doesn't matter either way"

If you iintend to present this poll to the corporate folks who run the place OR the timeshare BOD (if they have one) you do not want the column full of "i do not care" replies. You want a definitive answer.

    2 choices
    • Return the birds
    • Keep the birds off the Ren Island
I think polling is a fine idea for the owners and the guests that stay at the Aruba Ren properties.

    good luck

no do not put in my disclosure
my disclosure was giving my opinion

imo, my opinion does not count as i am not an owner at renaissance, i have been a guest there a few times

run your poll like this or some variety thereof
    Choose 1 or the other
    • Do you want the parrots/tropical caged birds returned to Renaissance Island?
    • Do you want the parrots/tropical caged birds to be kept OFF of Renaissance Island?
