Thumbs down "the morning news" where is it ? :(

I am missing the Aruba "Morning News"

Apparently there has not been an issue printed or online since mid May.

    Has anyone heard anything?

http://themorningnewsaruba.com/ I am able to still get into this Andrea. I am assuming this is the one you are speaking about? I know every now and then I have trouble getting into this newspaper as well as Aruba Daily but today I can. Perhaps you can try again, Good Luck hope you are successful!

Do any of the English Aruba newspapers currently have online editions? I miss The Moringing News and Aruba Today has not been available online for sometime. Perhaps someone on the forum could let them know that there is an audience for online access.

I see what you are saying now, sorry! I see today's date on top header but now see no new articles since May. Too bad I enjoyed being able to read this paper from time to time.

I miss being able to read an Aruba newspaper online since the Morning News is no longer in business. I know some of the other papers have websites, but the actual newspaper does not appear to be available online. Perhaps Andrea, or someone with the skill to run a survey on the forum to see how many participants would be interested in having an actual newspaper available online. If there is enough interest, perhaps we could convince one of the papers to provide an online edition. Perhaps the survey should include the question "Would you be willing to pay a subscription fee? How much?" If enough people are willing to subscribe, then that would also encourage a paper to provide online editions. Of course, I would prefer it be free, but I would be willing to pay a small fee, i.e. $25 per year, to subscribe. The papers are free in Aruba and the advertisers would benefit by having more people looking at the paper. The Forum members are potential customers when they are on the island.
