The Morning Star Private Sail

I have just made reservations for a private sunset sail and dinner aboard the Morning Star, a 40 ft Sail Boat. I need advice for anyone who has booked this private sail. First, is it cool out on the ocean at 9PM? Also, since all services are provided by the owners, do we tip on top of the charges? Thanks

Arlene....You will have the time of your lives.
We renewed our wedding vowes in 06 on her.
Depending on the wind...it can be cool out there when the sun goes down.
As far as tiping..( we did )....I was so impressed with the whole event...service included. Marcio and Kat are super nice.
Have a Great time<BigPapa>

Big Papa....I actually read your story on their site and it convinced me to book the sail. My husband and I are also going to renew our wedding vows on board The Morning Star! And he knows nothing about any of it! He just knows I have a surprise for him that evening. Thanks for the advice.

Re: The Morning Star Private Sail

I surprised my husband with a Morning Star dinner sail on our last trip in February. It was wonderful and worth the money. Kat and Marciano are a great couple - really likeable and went above and beyond to make sure our trip/dinner was enjoyable. I was pregnant (still am) and they made sure I was comfortable and had beverages I could drink. Kat prepared so much food we couldn't eat it all and had leftovers the next day so be prepared to eat!

First, is it cool out on the ocean at 9PM? No I didn't think so. I don't remember ever being chilly enough in Aruba to bring a jacket but then again I'm from Michigan and I think 50 degrees is warm:-) Probably wouldn't hurt to bring a jacket or sweatshirt just in case you get cold.

Also, since all services are provided by the owners, do we tip on top of the charges? Yes - we gave a tip. They went over the top on making sure it was a great adventure so I think they earned it.

Sounds like something I may be interested in. My 20th is next year, it sounds like it would be a nice surprise. What do they charge for the cruise ?
Thanks

It is NOT cheap, but from what I understand worth every penney. Please go to info@morningstararuba.com for all the information you need. I will post after I return from Aruba.
